Privacy
In this page are described the terms of use of www.brugi.com, with reference to the treatment of users personal data who consult it. The present waiver is to be intended, also under art.13 of D.lgs. n. 196/2003 (and following modifications) only for the website www.brugi.com and not for other websites eventually consulted by the user through links available on the present website.

Types of used data and purposes of use Browsing data

While browsing on Brugi website, the computer systems and the software procedures, which oversee the functioning of the website, gather some personal data, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of the protocols of Internet communication. Examples of this kind of data are, IP addresses of the domain name utilized by the users who get connected to the website, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the requested resources, time of request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the dimension of the file obtained as an answer, the numeric code indicating the reply of server (accepted, error, etc.) and other information related to the operative system and the computer environment of the user.
The above mentioned data, which might not refer to identified users, could allow to identify the users to which they refer, through reprocessing data hold by third parties.
However, those data are used by the Holder only for the purpose of elaborating anonymous statistics on the consultation of website and of checking the correct functioning of it. Anyway, they are deleted immediately after their data processing. These data could also be used in order to verify the responsibility of hypothetic hacking toward the website. Besides this hypothesis, the data are stored for no longer than seven days.

Data voluntarily given by the user.

The gathering of personal data can happen voluntarily, when an user sends an email to the addresses appearing on the website or when he sends digital forms available on it.
The sending of emails, entitles the Holder to gather email addresses which are necessary to reply to various enquiries, and other personal data contained in the same communication. The personal data gathered through this modality will be used by the Holder exclusively for the purpose of replying emails and for further correlated communications.
The dispatch of digital forms in order to obtain information, licenses the gathering, on behalf of Brugi S.p.A., of personal data enclosed in the form itself. The data gathered through this modality will be used by Brugi S.p.A. so as to acknowledge the request of received information and for further correlated communications, only.

Cookies

The Brugi website can use session cookies. The use of these cookies is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (constituted by random numbers generated by the server) necessary to allow the safe of efficient browsing and avoiding the use of other IT techniques potentially prejudicial for the confidentiality of the users. These cookies do not allow data capture able to identify the user.

Optionality of the data assignment

Besides everything mentioned for the browsing data, the user is free to give his personal data reported on the forms.
The lack of their assignment can entail the impossibility to obtain what it had been required.

EDP conditions

The personal data are treated as manual instruments and computerized for the necessary being time in order to achieve the aims for which they have been gathered.
Specific security measurements are used in order to prevent the loss of data, the unlawful or incorrect use of them and the unauthorized access to them.

Under art. 7 of D.lgs. 196/2003 (and following modifications), the users, to whom the personal data are referred, have the right to obtain the confirmation of their existence or lack in order to know the content, the origin, to verify the correctness, to require their integration or update, or their rectification, too. Under the same article the users have also the right to request the cancellation, transformation to anonymous format or the block of the treated data when, in this matter, the law has been violated or to anyways oppose of their treatment , for legitimate reasons.
